'API GROUP' company specializes in production of chemical products, fertilizers, building materials and equipment in Russian and export markets. It is a holder of control packet of stocks of 'Kormofos' (production of phosphocalcic addition agent tribasic calcium phosphate), 'GOP' (ore mining and processing plant), 'Kvartsit' (silica sand recovery and ore-dressing), 'House-building Company' (building houses near Moscow). Main spheres of its business are connected with organizing and consulting of investment projects in building and chemical industries.
'Fosprom' was created as a managing company of holding - upright integrated system of consolidated manufactories. Expediency of holding creation was based on the necessity of increase of production and financial activity effectiveness, stability and group capitalization increase.
The function of 'Fosprom' is to provide a complex management of production, sale, financial and investment projects of the group. Managing company includes technical board, centralized supply and finance management service, united accounts department of holding and staff service.
Realization of products, made by the plants of holding, with the aid of managing company allows achievement of highest possible effectiveness of sale and marketing politics, concentrating of financial movement and managing liquidity for ensuring uninterrupted process organization.
Today modern system of management and analysis is used in our group, including technologies of budget process, management accounts based on GAAP standards, estimated staff results (BSC), different models of cost price estimation, transfer pricing and a number of key efficiency indexes.
Modern and complex systems used in holding management allowed fast production and sale volume increase, effectiveness of production activities increase, inputs decrease. Thanks to this system the company not only paid for itself and paid off its arrears left after previous owners, but also became the largest tax-payer in Voskresensky region.
Complex information control system 'Galaxy' is inculcated in the company today. Also the process of uninterrupted production process improvement (TOC) is carried on there. They also prepare for the widening of business spheres and creation new production lines.
'Kvartsit' is an ore-dressing mining, dressing and reprocessing molding sand plant, which works with unique Eats-Novocherkassk sand-field. It is a leading producer of molding sand, sand for glass industry, ground quartz, which is used in metal manufacture, machine engineering and glass industry, in Russia.
'Kvartsit' is:
- Licensee N 9213/ 09213 TE of the ministry of natural Resources with the right of the East-Novocherkassk sand field development;
- 170 millions tones explored reserves of natural sand, which is much more than reserves of other Russian fields;
- High quality silica sand, with high degree of uniformity, group 02, uniformity coefficient - 80%;
- Efficient mining technical equipment - excavator ERs-710 and ESH-11/70 with production capacity 900 m3/h and 400 m3/h accordingly.
- High-capacity ore-dressing factory, equipped with modern, large-capacity, technique with processing volume 1 100 000 tones/year;
- Branch transport infrastructure, which includes own railway lines and rolling-stock: locomotives and goods wagons;
- Highly qualified managers, engineers and workers (more than 500 workers) with great experience in mining and processing industry;
- Reliable financial partner for many Russian and foreign companies, among which there are research institutes, building and investment companies.
'Kormofos' is one of the leading Russian producers of forage supplements. 'API GROUP' is a chief stockholder of the company, it works in Russian and foreign chemical products market. Special attention is paid to the questions of environment protection. Ecological monitoring laboratory was opened in 'Kormofos' with the aim of qualitative and quantitative analysis of pollutions, which are thrown out into the atmosphere and surface ponds. It carries out sanitation and looks after the observance of legislation. Ecologists of the plant are highly qualified and have great experience in laboratorial analysis and work on the principle of interchangeability.
'GOP' is a leading company in the production of fertilizer phosphorite flour, which won the recognition by the agricultural institutes in Soviet Union time. This fertilizer has high phosphorus and calcium index, which helped to reduce quantity of competitive fertilizers of the same type coming from European market.
"Railway workshop" Company is one of the largest our companies. It ensures transit by rail freightage in Voskresensky region, export of ready products to contiguity lines of Russian Railways, maintenance and servicing of rolling-stock, railway lines. Fleet of railway workshop has 6 diesel locomotives TEM-2, 43 boxcars, 4 cisterns with volume of 120 tones for transportation of phosphoric acid and other equipment (2 snow-ploughs, machine for railway lines maintenance MSCU, railway craines: EDK-300, frame crane with carrying capacity 16 tones). Two railway services were opened in a workshop for the railway maintenance, they are equipped with modern technique and electric tool. Volume of transported goods increased by 23% during first tree months of 2005 in comparison with the same period of last year.
Today 127 people work in the workshop, their aim is to ensure products delivery in Russia and Commonwealth of independent countries. We have working papers for the work with hazardous cargo and follow all necessary international safety and ecology requirements.
